The SP-1 Paintball marker is manufactured by Smart Parts an established Paintball equipment manufacturer based in the USA. It’s a military style gun that’s rugged and built to last and has an electropneumatic operation, which eliminates the need for heavy mechanical parts and speeds up the rate of fire.

The SP-1 paintball gun makes use of a low force Ion bolt and valve system which is unique to markers manufactured by Smart Parts. It reduces recoil when fired so that the gun doesn’t shake or jump like hammer driven markers. This in turn reduces sound, improves the accuracy of fire and provides the most consistent method of shooting. Thanks to the electropneumatic operation it also means that each time the trigger is pulled the bolt is automatically reset for the next shot, which allows for the capability of semi or fully automatic fire.

To keep the marker light weight the grip frame and receiver are made of high-grade metal alloys which give the marker its high strength and durability. This inner metal structure is further protected by a body cover which is made from high-quality polymer and rubber compounds (firearms grade glass-fibre reinforced nylon), which is light weight, extremely durable and protects the internal structure from dirt and scratches.

SP-1 users are able to choose between HPA (high pressure air) and CO2 thanks to the new Max-Flo R vertical regulator fitted. Many markers are unable to use CO2 safely because the liquid CO2 causes a drop in temperature which in turn can cause pressure spikes that may damage the guns o-rings. The SP-1 Tactical marker provides optimal stability and flow of compressed air as well as completely protecting the guns internal components from any damage that may be caused by CO2 pressure. Although compressed air is the standard for most fields and tournaments, CO2 provides users with a greater number of shots between refills which allows a player to stay out in the field for longer during games of scenario paintball.

There are six tactical rails situated all over the SP-1 Tactical marker that allow a user plenty of options for attaching flashlights, sights, night-vision scopes, grenade launchers, grips, point sights, risers and many more useful accessories.
